WELCOME TO SHELBIE EAKINS, WRITER
MISKAFIED Communications welcomes writer and digital content manager Shelbie Eakins to the staff. She is a writer in narrative nonfiction, news reporting, and is a professional photographer. She earned her Bachelor's in Journalism from the University of Florida.
THE STORY OF MISKAFIED
Why MISKAFIED? The consultancy name is directly related to the founder's earlier career as a journalist and her electric personality.
"My maiden name is Miska. Everyone in the newsroom went by last names," said Cynthia Bacon. "One of the other reporters announced when I arrived, 'Oh, here we go, we've been Miskafied'." The term lives on as Cynthia adds a spark to everything she writes.
